Based on recommendations from the research, CMI and Masarat will establish three sub-national working groups (Model Development Group) with experts. These groups will develop models of participatory and representative decision making that operate across political divides and despite the absence of elections. Each MDG will focus separately on one of specific areas of work identified in the National-level conference. These models will be tested in pilots to ensure that there is sufficient public reflection on them and that they contribute constructively to resilience in the political system. The models will be publicly presented at a national level during the second national-level conference. The models will also be presented to a regional and international level at during regional consultations.
